What's different about our ice?
The clarity of our ice is achieved through directional freezing, a process which removes nearly all gases and minerals from the ice and eliminates clouding. It takes 3-4 days to create a 300 lb. block of our crystal clear ice. From those blocks, we hand cut and inspect each individual cube for quality and clarity.

For best results, remove large format ice from your freezer approximately 15-20 minutes before use in cocktails or punchbowls. This short amount of time will allow a “tempering” period for the ice which will prevent it from cracking when introduced to liquid. When properly tempered, the ice will present as crystal clear and crack free; a beautiful sight indeed.
